With mobile recording equipment, this body of work was created in Los Angeles CA, Topanga CA, Joshua Tree CA, Flagstaff AZ, Santa Fe NM, Taos NM, Abiquiu NM, Paris France and Kyoto Japan. Sound recordings were recorded in Phnom Penh, Cambodia at The New Hope For Cambodian Children school.
Crossing into a new decade of life, I discovered a lot to process, identity being a major theme. What’s important to me? What am I doing here on planet earth? How do I process all that is happening around me, personally and in the world? These songs are a reflection of what was spoken to me in the tenderness of my heart. Loving, peaceful and hopeful whispers from The Comforter.
